G.H. Robertson School Celebrates Family Wellness with Annual 5K and Fun Run

The G.H. Robertson School (GHR) proudly hosted its annual 5K and Fun Run on Thursday, October 22, bringing students and their families together for an afternoon of fall fitness, fun, and community spirit.

Approximately 80 students participated alongside family members, running around the perimeter of GHR to promote family wellness and encourage an active lifestyle. Students had the option of participating in the one-lap Fun Run or challenging themselves with the 5K. Family members joined in the running or cheered on their children from the sidelines, creating an enthusiastic and supportive atmosphere.

The event was organized by GHR Physical Education Teacher Lisa Dutton, with the help of dedicated staff members and parent volunteers. To recognize their efforts, participating students received a certificate of accomplishment and a commemorative toe tag celebrating their hard work and participation.

GHR’s annual 5K and Fun Run reflects the school’s commitment to promoting healthy habits, encouraging physical activity, and strengthening connections among students, families, and the school community.
